Manny Curtis - Cartoonist and War Veteran 5min 16sec
War veteran Manny later became a cartoonist for most national newspapers & mags, including Playboy. He also wrote comedy scripts for top TV shows, such as The Two Ronnies, & he once danced with Ginger Rogers.
We were saddened to hear that Manny recently passed away.

David Arkush - Prisoner of war returns home to England 4min 45sec
David trained as a dentist during the 1930's & was posted to Singapore after war broke out. He was captured by the invading Japanese army in Feb 1942, & imprisoned in the notorious Changi camp. He practised dentistry to his fellow prisoners from a makeshift surgery, & was released in late 1945, some 45 lbs lighter.
